Italian carmaker Fiat finally launched the much awaited Avventura crossover right in the middle of festive week. Fiat Avventura has been launched in the domestic market in two petrol variants and three diesel variants. At the time of launch, Nagesh Basavanhalli, MD and President, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles India was quoted as saying, “The Avventura showcases Fiat's commitment to India to produce cars designed for India and manufactured for India. We have already received around 15,000 inquires and 500 pre-launch bookings for the Avventura.” The new Fiat Avventura is up for grabs in Active, Dynamic and Emotion variants.
The new Fiat Avventura can prove to be a strongest competitor against Toyota's Etio Cross. The Avventura from Fiat is powered by 1.4 litre FIRE engine that delivers maximum power output of about 89 Bhp with peak torque of 115 Nm. Whereas, the diesel trim of Avventura is powered by 1.3 litre Multijet engine that generates 92 Bhp of Power with about 209 Nm of torque. All the engines are mated to five speed transmission. Fiat has also rendered Avventura with distinctive tailgate mounted spare tyre and body cladding. Moreover, the vehicle has received best-in-category ground clearance figures of about 205 mm. Speaking about standard features the Avventura crossover gets a compass and tilt meter along with 16-inch alloy wheels. The Active classic petrol variant of Fiat Avventura has been launched for Rs. 5.99 lakh, Dynamic Petrol variant is launched at Rs. 7.05 Lakh, Active Diesel trim is priced at Rs. 6.89 lakh, Dynamic Diesel is priced at Rs. 7.65 lakh and the Emotion Diesel has been priced at Rs. 8.17 lakhs.
