Land Rover is preparing a minor facelift for the second-gen Range Rover Sport, as seen in these spy shots taken at the infamous Nurburgring circuit in Germany. This sporty derivative of the regular Range Rover has been around for a couple of years now and has already seen some minor upgrades and the ludicrously fast SVR version.
Design wise, not much will be changed. That said, there will be a revised front-end featuring different air intakes and possibly a new grille design. The engine options including supercharged petrol and economical diesel units will remain the same albeit with a few tweaks for lower carbon emissions.
The facelifted Range Rover Sport is expected to launch globally by the end of this year as a 2017 MY vehicle. It will compete with other super-fast SUVs like the Audi SQ7 and the Porsche Cayenne Turbo.
