      Range Rover Halewood plant offers 1,000 jobs

      With Jaguar Land Rover’s announcement to recruit 1,000 more workers to execute the production of its second generation Land Rover Freelander and Range Rover Evoque in Halewood, the company received more than 35,000 job applications. The company did not expect that it will receive so many applications for the limited number of posts. This provides a clear picture of the economy and employment situation in the area. In the markets of India and China, the demand for British cars has been increasing constantly.

      Victoria Beckham has made maximum efforts for her Range Rover Evoque limited edition, which has been custom designed. The car is in display at the Beijing Auto Show. Range Rover Evoque is a powerful crossover, which has attained huge appreciations across the globe. Customers can personalise the exterior and interior of this vehicle to make it unique. Several types of wheel accessories are also provided for customisation.

      Jaguar Land Rover also has plans to manufacture vehicles in China. UK customers will get the off-roader in a time span of 3 to 6 months. However, others have to wait for at least 9 months. The company will start a third shift to increase the production at Halewood factory. By adding more workers, the employee strength will go up to 4,500.
