Shanghai-based Qoros is famously known for its ‘camless’ engine, developed along with FreeValve AB, a sister company of Koenigsegg.  The Chinese media is speculating that the new concept may be christened as ‘Super EV’, however, the official name may differ when the car is finally  revealed at the Chinese auto expo. The new EV seen in the images that surfaced online showcases a four-door fastback with four-seat configuration. The carbon-fibre monocoque will allow a 0-  100kmph time of 3seconds. The EV will be sold under the Qoro’s banner and the Chinese carmaker claims a range of 500km though there are now details available on the powertrain or battery pack employed.

There is also a speculation that the EV will be christened as 9 Q-lectriq since the car showcased last year with the camless engine was called 3 Q-Lectriq. Whether or not the vehicle goes into production remains to be seen.
