Pune hosts BMW Golf Cup International 2012

BMW Golf Cup International 2012 has been organised by the renowned automobile group BMW in Pune on 25th February 2012. This tournament has been launched by the group across nine Indian cities, including Pune, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Gurgaon, and Chandigarh. As per reports, the national finale is scheduled to be held in Gurgaon.

This amateur golf tournament is hosted by BMW group for opinion leaders, customers, and prospects. BMW Golf Cup International 2012 will help in facilitating social interaction among participants. In this tournament, 50 countries are participating including India. Across 1,000 qualifying tournaments, 1,00,000 players will compete to qualify for the BMW Golf Cup International 2012 World Final.

Prospective buyers and BMW owners who are interested in participating in the tournament will be chosen by official dealers of the automotive giant. The German car maker will organise the tournament as per rules and regulations of the respective local golf clubs. The event is divided into three categories, Ladies Category (for handicaps up to 28), A (for handicaps up to 12), and B (for handicaps 13 – 28). The winners, runners-up, second runners-up of categories, will become eligible to partake in the national finale.
