Tata Motors has been constantly working hard to make its most affordable offering, the Nano a much better vehicle to drive. In 2013, the company launched the mid-life facelift version of the Nano that came with more power, better ride and handling, improved braking, new colours and several cosmetic changes. This time around, the car gets a electric power steering unit (EPS) designed by ZF, which makes it drive effortlessly on city roads. Moreover, the power-steering equipped Nano Twist has also received a new colour- Damson Purple. The cabin remains unchanged, except some minor tweaks made to the instrument cluster.

Mechanically, the new version will remain unchanged. It will continue to derive its power from the two-valve 624cc inline two cylinder petrol mill, capable of churning out a maximum power output of 38PS and 51Nm of peak torque.

Tata Motors that had launched facelift and new versions of many of its cars in 2013 under HORIZONEXT, has plans to bring in more vehicles in 2014. Tata Vista's new variant, the 'Tech' will be the next product to make its way to India soon. The Vista Tech is the same vehicle doing test rounds in India for quite sometime now. The company is also working on a new compact sedan to rival Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire and Honda Amaze, which we expect to be unveiled at 2014 Indian Auto Expo in February.
