Talking of portfolio. Porsche has come a long way, and from being the maker of sports cars like the iconic 911, they went on to build a four door saloon (Panamera), and an SUV (Cayenne). Reports now suggest that Porsche could unveil the wagon version of the four-door Panamera at the Geneva Motor show in March. The car maker could also begin deliveries of the car in Europe a few months after that.
With Porsche’s new wagon in the market, those with the likes of the Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake (station wagon version of CLS-Class) will now have an option. These buyers choose a subtle balance between functionality and luxury. Now, while it remains unclear about how much attention Porsche’s new wagon will steal from the segment, the brand has done its part by tapping into all avenues to generate business.
