Indonesian Mario Iroth set out from his homeland in April this year with a mission to reach Italy by the end of October. Mario has chosen Benelli TNT 600i as his vehicle for the journey. Currently in India, the biker is waiting to get Visa clearance from Pakistan. Our neighbouring country is the next destination of the biker before he passes through Iran, Turkey and Greece and finally reaches Italy.

Italy is not the final destination as Mario is aiming for a Paris to Paris trip. He started off from Paris Van Java and plans to end his trip in Paris, France. Mario is accompanied by his partner Lilis Handayani in this 14 country trip to Paris. The couple opted for this route rather than the longer yet simple Indonesia-China-Kazakhstan route because they did not want to travel on easy tarmac roads.

This route offers tough challenges and since it involves so many countries, the trip has been a treat for the eyes of the couple as they have been riding through the mountains instead of boring highways. The rider is highly impressed by his bike’s performance and said that expert tourist were surprised by his choice as TNT 600i is considered a street bike. Mario claimed that the Italian machine has served him well so far and he hopes to reach the end of his journey without any hiccups.

Mario shared that the toughest part of his journey so far was travelling through Nepal as the disaster hit country does not have enough roads to offer. On his visit to India, he was awestruck by the beauty of Taj Mahal and exclaimed that it looked better and more beautiful than he had imagined it.

Benelli TNT 600i has a 600 cc engine which produces 84 bhp and 55 Nm of torque. The only issue a long distance traveller might face on this bike is its weight. The bike has a kerb weight of 231 kg, which really heavy for a street bike. Shirish Kulkarni, chairman of DSK Motowheels, quoted, "We were thrilled to find out that Mario Iroth had chosen the Benelli TNT 600i for his awe-inspiring journey through 14 countries. We are pleased to know that Mario has found his choice to be ideal and wish him good luck for the next part of his extraordinary ride."
