      Pawel Szuflak to Head Skoda Auto India's sales and marketing department

      Skoda Auto India Private Limited recently announced that Pawel Szuflak will be Heading the Sales and Marketing department for the company. Szuflak is a well known personality in Skoda Auto, who has been working with the company for the past 16 years. Born in Poland, he joined Skoda in 1997 as a supervisor of the company's advertising strategies. Through his 16 years long experience with Skoda, Szuflak has a great understanding of the automobile industry.

      His initial focus will be the launch of new Skoda Octavia in India, which is likely to be showcased in August this year. In addition to this, he will be responsible to ensure a decent sales performance of the current models. The key area for Szuflak to work on will be developing a new product launch and the development of an aggressive distribution strategy. His experience in auto mobile sector fetches to working in Chinese and European markets. He was appointed as the Head Dealer Network Strategy and Operations in China wherein he enjoyed tremendous success in achieving brilliant sales satisfaction figures.

      During his role as Head of Department, International Sales Strategy of Skoda, he was involved in developing a unique strategy development system based on the Volkswagen Group. As an experienced veteran, Szuflak will be Heading the Sales, Network and Marketing and Service departments of the Skoda India. With his vast expertise and worthwhile experience, he will play a crucial role in further establishing Skoda's position in the country. He will be responsible for ensuring a high sales chart in the Indian car market, which is currently facing a fall over the past few months. Industry experts are of a view that it will be interesting to see how Szuflak adapts to the dynamic Indian market, which is facing a economic downturn as of now.
