This Sunday, groups of true automobile fanatics witnessed the magnificent fleet of cars roaring on Mumbai streets. For people unfamiliar to the event, the stage had been set right for the sixth edition of India's car show named 'The Parx Super car show' (SSC) 2014. Last year's event was marked with the likes of Mercedes, Audi, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bentley, Ferrari, BMW and Rolls-Royce. It is said that, in comparison to last year the number of cars participating in this year's event were fewer in number. A fleet of Lamborghini Gallardo in shades of yellow, green and orange made up for the fewer numbers. Mr. Gautam Singhania, the Chairman and Managing Director of Raymond Limited and Founding Chairman of Super Car Club, demonstrated the show-stopper a 1932 Ford ‘Rebel’ hot rod. This car was the main attraction of the show as it was powered by a 500bhp Chevrolet V8 engine that enables it to reach a top speed of 200 kph. The car was loud enough to set the visitors heartbeats racing. Apart from these, the show also featured die-to-own sports-car from Rolls-Royce, Audi, BMW, Bentleys, Maserati, Porsche, Mercedes Benz, Aston Martins and Ferrari.

The Parx Super car show is coincidentally India's only Super cars show that was kicked off in the month of April in 2009. Since then, the event has grown manifold over the years. Number of visitors to this annual event has also multiplied over time making this an extravagant automotive event. Mr. Gautam Singhania, was quoted as saying, “The Super Car Club parade have the tradition of bringing together the most elite and desirable class of super cars. This edition of the Parx Super Car Show features the world’s most talked about exotic supercars on display including the sizzling sensation - Hot Rod.
