This is going to be a revolutionary feature being offered in a mass segment vehicle that is usually seen in high end premium cars. Hence it will also give the new vehicle in B segment an edge over its rivals. The low displacement, 1.2 litre Revotron petrol engine is capable of developing top power of 83 Bhp and peak torque of 140 Nm respectively. Diesel range of the hatchback will be equipped with the 1.3 litre Quadrojet diesel motor engendering a maximum power of 73 Bhp along with a pinnacle torque of 190 Nm. Both the engines are expected to be mated to a five-speed manual transmission.

Tata Motors will also bestow its upcoming compact sedan Zest with three driving modes, however there is yet no clarity on the model that will be offered with this feature. Zest is also likely to get the same five-speed manual gearbox that is expected to be seen in the Bolt hatchback. Tata Motors will unleash both the cars in one month gap, most likely Zest will arrive first in the month of August followed by Bolt in September.
