Japanese automajor Toyota's Indian subsidiary Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has now officially announced the vehicles it will unveil at the Auto Expo 2014- The Motor Show. The company will showcase vehicles ranging from the Etios Liva to the LC 200, exhibiting the wave of mobility that Toyota has brought in, by its presence in each vehicle segment. The Toyota cars will be showcased in three zones- Fun, QDR (Quality, Durability and Reliability) and Technology. The two products for which everybody is eagerly waiting, all new Corolla Altis and new Etios Cross will be showcased at Expo.
The all new Corolla Altis will get large swept-back headlmaps, new chrome grille and revised rear, making it look an even more aggressive and sportier than before. Mechanically, the car will remain unchanged, carrying the existing 1.8-litre dual VVTi petrol engine and the 1.4-litre D4-D diesel engine. Sharing the stage with the all new Corolla Altis will be the much anticipated Etios Cross, which is basically the crossover version of the company's flagship hatchback Etios.
What makes the Etios Cross look rugged are new bumpers, new 10-spoke alloy wheels, roof rails and side body cladding. In terms of technicalities, the car might get Liva TRD Sportivo's 1.5-litre petrol petrol engine and a 1.4-litre diesel mill.
