Tata Motors' total sales figure, which include exports of Tata Commercial and passenger vehicles stood at 66,500 units in November 2012. Tata's combined domestic sales of commercial and passenger vehicles for November 2012 stood at 62,354 units as against 72,474 units sold in November 2011. Cumulative sales for Tata Motors for the financial year stood at 548,168 units, which were 544,492 units in the previous year.
The auto makers' sales of commercial vehicles in November this year in the domestic market stood at 44,323 units as against 44,732 vehicles sold in November 2011. LCV sales figure stood at 34,828 units in November 2012, whereas this figure stood at 28,673 units in the same month last year. M&HCV sales volume stood at 9,495 units as against 16,064 units in November 2011. Cumulative sales of commercial vehicles in India for the financial year stood at 342,855 units as compared to last year. Combined LCV sales figure stood at 243,543 units, whereas M&HCV sales volume stood at 99,312 units.
Tata Motors' sales of passenger vehicles for November 2012 stood at 18,031 units compared to 27,735 units sold in the same month in 2011. Tata Manza Club Class which is now available all over the country has so far received encouraging response. Tata Safari Storme, on the other hand, is now available in Punjab, UP, NCR region, Rajasthan and Gujarat and the company is, therefore, ramping up production. Tata Nano sales stood at 3,503 units as compared to 6,401 numbers sold in November 2011.The Indica range sales figure stood at 3,709 units as against 6,213 units in November last year. The Sumo/Safari/Aria/Venture range sales figure in November 2012 stood at 4,493 units, whereas this figure stood at 4,197 units in November 2011.
Cumulative sales of passenger cars stood at 169,792 units, as against 178,309 units sold till November in 2011. Cumulative sales of the Nano car stood at 47,130 units, compared to 39,646 units in November 2011. Cumulative sales of the Indica range stood at 55,739 units over 2011, whereas, that of the Indigo family stood at 32,702 units over last year. Cumulative sales of the Sumo/Safari/Aria/Venture range stood at 34,221 units over 2011.
Tata Motors shipped 4,146 vehicles in November 2012 as against 4,349 vehicles in November 2011. The cumulative sales from exports for the financial year stood at 35,521 units as against 39,598 units sold in the same period last year.
