This November, the Indian auto market would be ready yet again to welcome new entrants, intensifying the competition further, as car makers are geared up to offer refreshing vehicles soon. Leading car companies like Lamborghini, Land Rover, Skoda et al are aiming to grab the opportunity provided by the Indian market in the form of large exposure and rapid growth.

The Italian supercar maker, Lamborghini, post the launch of models like the Murcielago and Gallardo, is once again entering into India with Aventador LP 700-4. The supercar would be offering unprecedented experience in terms of handling and control. The LP 700-4 is believed to be a one-of-its-kind supercar hitting the Indian roads soon. Aventador LP 700-4 would possibly be positioned against the line-ups offered by giants like Ferrari.

Maintaining its power producing capacity, Lamborghini has assembled the latest vehicle with a new 6.5-litre V12 motor, which churns an exorbitant power of 700 hp at 8250 rpm. The expected Launch Date of the super car is 3rd November 2011 with an estimated price range of Rs. 3.50 crore and Rs. 3.75 crore.

Land Rover is another auto leader that plans to join the league with its Evoque that was a part of the Paris Motor Show in 2010 as a concept. The vehicle is expected to give a new definition to the SUV line-up offered by the car maker currently. Evoque would most probably be introduced as an entry level SUV in the Indian market that ideally confirms its price to be lower or equal to that of other models under Land Rover's belt. The expected launch date of Evoque is 4th November 2011, while the expected Price is between Rs. 35 lacs and Rs. 40 lacs.

Skoda, too, has pulled up its socks to penetrate the Indian market, with full force, using its highly-awaited car, the Skoda Rapid. The bold looking Rapid will be built on the same platform as the Vento and would aim to unsettle the C segment cars, namely, the Fiat Linea, VW Vento, Maruti SX4, Ford Fiesta, Honda City and Hyundai Verna.

The Rapid seems to showcase unparalleled design lines and would even overshadow its cousin Vento on grounds of appearance. It will be available in a 1.6-litre diesel and petrol engine. Moreover, an automatic gearbox option is likely to be offered in the car. The expected launch date of Rapid is 16th November 2011 and the price would fall in the bracket of Rs. 6.75 lacs and Rs. 9.00 lacs.

Honda Motors is planning to spread its wings by rolling out the upgraded version of City, which is already a part of the other South East Asian markets, in the Indian auto industry. Right from the start, the City has always set an example in the market with its unmatched cabin space and cabin quality. Moreover, the new version of the popular car is expected to set higher standards than before.

The top end variants of the latest Honda City will feature a sun-roof, cruise control and leather seats, among others. The expected launch date for the new City is 17th November 2011 while the price tag is estimated to be between Rs. 7.25 lacs and Rs. 9.50 lacs.

In addition, Mahindra Mini Xylo and Renault Fluence E4 diesel are also expected to roll out soon.

Thus, it seems like the car makers have chalked out large-scale strategies for the Indian auto market, and do not wish to lag behind in the rapidly developing automobile hub of the world.
