Nissan has developed its new V-platform especially for the developing markets. However, the company is now also planning to roll out a new MPV from its the platform that will replace its existing models like Livina and Note in the international market.

The new MPV will be developed on the new V-platform on which the company is currently building its small car model Nissan Micra. The new MPV will be the third model to be rolled out from this new platform after Nissan Micra and a new sedan model codenamed L02B. The new MPV has been codenamed as J02C.
The new MPV model is expected to be rolled out by 2012.
