Nissan has launched facelifted model of its SUV X-Trail in the international market. The 2011 updated model has been introduced in Japan and looks quite similar to its old variant apart from its new re-designed front grille, front bumper and headlights. On the rear, the model features, LED combination taillights, 17-inch aluminium wheels with fatter tires, and choice of seven exterior colours.

The interiors have also been mildly redesigned to make car more usable with features like larger size meters and new vehicle information display showcasing information such as fuel consumption, cruising range, time to change engine oil and tyres. 2011 Nissan X-Trail comes with a new 2-liter “M9R” Clean Diesel which Nissan says delivers comparable power to a V6 petrol engine, but has much lower emissions.

The AWD version of the 2011 Nissan X-Trail facelift is equipped with an Advanced Hill Descent Control system, a glove compartment with heat-retention and refrigerator functions and an intelligent key system with an engine immobilizer as standard.
