Nissan released a teaser shot of 2013 Nissan Pathfinder on 19th December, 2011 before its launch at the Detroit Auto Show 2012. In the teaser image, the Pathfinder 2013 looks much curvier and attractive than the last series. The new model is expected to hit the markets by next year.

The fourth generation of Pathfinder have some exclusive features which makes it different from the entire model range. The latest variant has sufficient cargo space and can accommodate seven people. The picture released suggests that the flash of tail light of Pathfinder 2013 has LED lighting. Moreover, it also hints that the car will have a five-spoke fan tail wheels.

Since its inception, the Pathfinder series has been the most widely acclaimed vehicle among the Nissan SUV series. The previous Pathfinder, released in 2005, had started to loose its sheen in the market. The latest model looks can undoubtedly make a place in the most classic and attractive SUVs list.

Nissan is also indicating at the use of latest technology in the Pathfinder 2013. The Around View monitor and seven-speed automatic transmission would emerge as the USPs of the car. However, there are no details regarding the type of engine that will find a place in the upcoming Pathfinder model.

The concept is likely to affix the 5.6-litre V8 engine, which churns a peak power of 400 hp. The motor is also present under the hood of the Infiniti QX56.

Thus, as Nissan has combined the attributes of V8 and V6 in 2013 Pathfinder, the company can expect a boost in its sales in the market.
