      Nissan to launch Terrano facelift on March 27

      Japanese automaker Nissan has announced its plans to launch the Terrano facelift on March 27. The SUV last received an AMT upgrade way back in October 2016, while this time around it gets fresh cosmetic as well as feature upgrades. The new model is expected to regenerate customer interest in the product.

      As for design, the new Nissan Terrano will get fresh changes in form of revised headlamps, new LED daytime running lamps and a revised front bumper. The sides will retain its current form except for a new set of alloy wheels. The rear section has been revised with a new bumper and new LED taillamps. As for the interior, the vehicle is expected to get revised upholstery, automatic climate control and a touchscreen infotainment system. Features like electrically folding ORVMs with integrated turn signal, driver armrest and anti-pinch driver side window might be offered as optional.

      The Nissan Terrano facelift will be powered by the existing 1.5-litre diesel engine in two states of tune - 84 bhp and 200 Nm of peak torque and a more powerful version that generates 108 bhp and 243 Nm of peak torque. The SUV will be offered with five-speed manual as standard, while the latter will be offered with either 6-speed manual gearbox or an AMT unit. More details about the vehicle will be known post its launch.
