The new Nissan Leaf was just recently unveiled. It already wowed the world by offering zero emissions and now getting more powerful and a longer driving range. But there are reports that suggest Nissan wants to make it fun as well. Nissan’s in-house tuning firm Nismo just might get their hands on one and the car just might turn over a whole new ‘Leaf’.
With the tuner package, the Leaf is expected to be green and mean. Now the Leaf isn’t new to performance upgrades. In fact we have even driven the last-Gen Leaf Nismo RC and you can read about it here. The new Leaf now looks much better and already has a very potent motor so we’re guessing adding more performance should be an easy job for Nissan. Expect a hotter body kit, way stiffer suspension and performance to take on the likes of sportscars and Tesla’s.
