Nissan has reduced the prices of the Micra automatic hatchback by up to Rs 54, 252. The Micra XL CVT which was earlier priced at Rs 6.53 lakh, has now been revised to Rs 5.99 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi), thereby making it cheaper by Rs 54,000. The Micra XV CVT which was earlier priced at Rs 7.19 lakh, now costs about Rs 6.73 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi), thereby making it cheaper by Rs 46,000.

Nissan has been able to offer the pricing benefit to customers owing to its increased parts localisation measures. The Nissan Micra XL and XV CVT variants are powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that generates 76bhp of power. In terms of features, it comes loaded with Smart Key with Push start stop, steering mounted audio controls, rear LED combi lamp, follow-me home headlamps and auto air conditioning controls.
As for safety, the Micra CVT variants come with speed sensing door lock, SRS Dual Airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA). For better handling it comes with 15-inch alloy wheels.
