Nissan joins hands with Radio City for its New Year promotional campaign

Nissan Motor India Private Limited (NMIPL), a completely owned subsidiary of Japanese multinational car maker Nissan Motor Co., has joined hands with Radio City to promote its new Christmas and New Year campaign called ‘Nissan Fest’ in the country. With its interesting, fun filled and one-of-a-kind campaign, the company is looking to engage its Indian clientele and prospective customers at its major retail outlets present across many metropolitans and cities of the country.

The Nissan Fest is the company’s idea dedicated towards winning the confidence and trust of Indian car enthusiasts. The Christmas and New Year celebrations are scheduled to start from December 22, 2012 and will be held on Saturdays and Sundays till December 30, 2012. The fun filled weekend celebrations will feature interactive live shows, music games, tatoos, video gaming consoles, raffles, dart games and many other interesting crowd engaging events.

Radio City, the popular radio station among dwellers of several Indian cities, will organise live shows at Nissan's dealerships in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Hyderabad, Cochin and Trivandrum. The RJs (Radio Jockeys) from the popular radio channel will also be present at the New Year celebrations conducted by Nissan.

Interestingly, Nissan Motor India is also doling out special discounts on its premium hatch Micra and the popular Sunny sedan during the celebrations. During the festival, Micra hatch will be offered to local consumers at a special discounted price of Rs. 3.99 lakhs, whereas Sunny saloon will be available at Rs. 5.79 lakhs.

Expressing his delight with the Nissan Fest campaign, Nitish Tipnis, Director, Sales and Marketing, Hover Automotive India said, “We are delighted to be associated with Radio City, which is among the best FM stations in India. Our RJs will be going on-air right from these stores taking the spirit of ‘Nissan Fest’ to our listeners. The Radio City Connect team, with all its expertise in ideation, promotion and on-ground execution, is going all out to ensure that the ‘Nissan Fest’ is etched in the memory of our listeners & visitors at Nissan Dealership during the Fest on Saturdays & Sundays.”
