      Nissan Invitation concept to be showcased at Geneva Motor Show 2012

      Nissan, the Japan based auto giant, will be showcasing the concept version of its brand new hatchback, Invitation at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show 2012. The car is a B-segment concept has a spectacular design with magnificently sharp looks and the sub compact hatchback provides enormous cabin space as that of a mini SUV.

      The Invitation is set to be launched in Europe in the calendar year 2013 and the company is eyeing to further introduce more mainstream crossovers in the European auto market.

      Mr. François Bancon, Deputy Division- General Manager (Product Strategy and Product Planning), was quoted as saying, “The name we have given to this concept is self-explanatory. It is designed to be inviting thanks to its sensuous exterior design and generous and comfortable interior space, cleverly packaged within compact overall dimensions.”

      The production version of the Nissan Invitation will offer best in class aerodynamics, modern engine technology and the lightweight platform, which will result in higher fuel efficiency and will own a Nissan Pure Drive Badge for the decreased level of CO2 emissions.

      The production of the car will be amended for its launch in the European markets and will be endowed with features such as increasingly spacious cabin space and an advanced system such as the Around View Monitor system. This will enable parking and driving safer and more convenient allowing the driver to have a helicopter view of the area around the car.
