Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd., the Indian wing of the Japanese automotive concern has branched out its third all exclusive Nissan dealership in one of key markets in the country, Mumbai. The new dealership, Torrent Nissan is aptly located in Andheri at Mumbai West is a well strategized move of the automaker, planning to expand its foot print at an accelerated pace in India.
Torrent Nissan encompasses a vast area of 480 sq metres and was inaugurated by Mr. G.M.Singh, Vice Chairman & Managing Director of Hover Automotive India, the exclusive Nissan Sales & Service Dealer Distribution Associate.
During the inauguration event, Mr. G.M Singh commented that the new sales outlets will effectively cater to boost the sales of its new launches complimenting its existing portfolio by widening the reach to the company’s prospective buyers.
Mr. Takayuki Ishida, Managing Director & CEO, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd., was quoted as saying, "Mumbai is growing in terms of its sheer market size and user base. It is a perfect market which demands innovation with value for money services and we are glad to be expanding our presence in this commercial capital of the country."
Mr Jatinder Singh Chadha, Dealership Promoter, Torrent Nissan took pride while admitting that Nissan has earned an unmatched goodwill in the global platform and has set a new level in terms of product quality, innovation and technology.
At present, the company has aimed it right by visioning to roll out Nissan Evalia in the newly emerged segment. The MPV will mark its debut in India on 25th September and will be offered in four enticing variants. Nissan Evalia is anticipated to have an edge over its top contenders Toyota Innova, Mahindra Xylo and the recently launched Maruti Suzuki Ertiga in terms of interior space and convenience.
