      Hyundai Motor India Limited, the Indian subsidiary of the South Korean automaker, is probing to launch the next generation version of its bestselling trendy and chic hatchback, Hyundai i10 in the Indian auto market. These plans were confirmed after new spy images of the upcoming version of Hyundai i10 were leaked.

      The country’s second largest automaker has planned to mark the grand debut of the next generation i10 at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show before its launch in India. The heavily disguised avatar was the next generation Hyundai i10 could not reveal the major amendments incorporated in the hatchback except that it will boast a longer and wider frame ensuring revamped cabin space.

      Moreover, the contours of the grille visible from the large drape gave an impression that the new i10 may sport Hyundai’s much acclaimed ‘Fluidic’ styling. It could be even hinted by the design tweaks incorporated such as the back-swept headlamps, lower and stretched jaw lines and the rising shoulder lines.

      It is also expected the Hyundai may fabricate the top end variants of the new i10 with standard features comprising of alloy wheels, rear parking sensors and fog lamps.

      Codenamed as BA, the new i10 will be powered with the new 1.1L common rail diesel engine, which is currently being developed by the car maker. Hyundai is also working on a 1.0-litre Kappa petrol engine delivering greater fuel efficiency as compared to the currently available 1.1L Epsilon powertrain.
