The 2013 Audi Q5 facelift looks stunning and is easily one of the best vehicles in its class. The German auto major offers the new Q5 compact crossover SUV to domestic audience at price tag of Rs. 43.16 lakhs (ex-showrooms New Delhi) for its 2.0 litre petrol model. Further, the 2.0 litre and 3.0 litre diesel trim levels are available in the Indian passenger car market at retail values of Rs. 43.47 lakhs and Rs. 48.71 lakhs, respectively (ex-showrooms New Delhi).

At present, the newly launched Audi Q5 is pitched against the likes of BMW X3, Mitsubishi Montero, Volvo XC90 and Land Rover Freelander 2. Evidently, Audi Q5 is a compact crossover SUV and competes against true-blood premium SUVs like Montero, XC90 and Freelander 2, only in terms of pricing and not exterior build, seating capacity and size. Tagged at a base price around Rs. 42.2 lakhs, BMW X3 is the only real Q5 rival, which is available in the Indian imported car market, at the moment. The retail values of Audi Q5's other rivals in the country - Mitsubishi Montero, Volvo XC90 and Land Rover Freelander 2 are Rs. 41.5 lakhs, Rs. 44 lakhs and Rs. 37 lakhs, respectively.
