Yamaha India has launched the new Fazer F1 Version 2.0 priced at Rs 83,850 (ex-showroom Delhi). Prior to this the company had rolled out two new variants under the FZ range- FZ Version 2.0 and FZ-S Version 2.0. The new Fazer F1 Version 2.0 gets a new air-cooled 149cc, 4-stroke, SOHC, single cylinder fuel injected engine that works well on the lightweight body of the motorcycle. The bike is claimed to be lightest in 150cc segment, this in turn helps in yielding improved engine performance. Vouched to be more powerful, frugal and eco-friendly the new Fazer F1 Version 2.0 is aimed at young men aged 18 to 30.
Company claims that the new Generation Engine Development Ideal ‘Blue Core’ ensures class-leading acceleration, 14 per cent increased fuel efficiency and environmental friendliness. The new bike in FZ range gets boastful dimension-it is 1990mm long, 760mm wide, 1115mm tall and seat height measures 790mm. While the wheelbase stands at 1330mm, minimum ground clea
rance of the bike is 160mm and has an overall weight (with oil and a full fuel tank) of 137 kg.
Other salient features of new Fazer F1 Version 2.0 comprise of a newly designed tandem seat and grab bar that offers improved rider comfort. The multi-function instrument panel features an “ECO Indicator”. Front and rear suspension settings have also been revised. Chassis-related modifications ensure a light and agile ride. The bike also gets new front and rear tires for improved handling stability.
