It has been learnt that the new Volvo XC60 T6 will be powered with the 2.0 litre, turbocharged, four cylinder engine. The 2.0 litre motor is good for 306 Hp of top power along with 400 Nm of peak torque. Courtesy athletic powertrain, the vehicle propels from 0 to 100 kmph within 6.9 seconds. An eight-speed automatic transmission will be mated to the engine and it is expected that the new XC60 T6 will be capable of returning 13.69 kmpl.
Cabin gets a digital instrument cluster, an eight-inch adaptive digital display and a navigation system. Among the comfort and convenience features, a power operated tailgate, active high beam control, adaptive cruise control with queue assist and distance alert will be equipped in the vehicle. Other than these features, 18-inch Pan alloy wheels with 235/60R18 tyres will be incorporated.
Volvo will also embed preeminent safety features like collision warning with auto brake, pedestrian and cyclist detection with full auto brake, driver alert control and lane departure warning, road sign information and speed dependent steering.
The company will also offer a five-year warranty of free service and a five-year access to the Volvo On Call roadside assistance service as standard.
