Mitsubishi hasn’t got a strong footing in India and is still finding a tough terrain in the Indian market. However, it is definitely not giving up the fight yet. The company now intends to upgrade its entire product portfolio in the Indian market. In line with its plans for the Indian market, the company will introduce a new face lifted model of Outlander in the Indian market. The new crossover model will have a 2.4L engine and will be priced at Rs. 19.95 lakh making it cheaper by at least Rs. 60,000 than its earlier model.
The new Mitsubishi Outlander model has undergone a makeover and the 2010 model of the car now has a jet fighter style front look. Outlander's new looks have been inspired from the Outlander GT prototype displayed at last year's New York International Auto Show. The 2010 Outlander comes with a new headlamp cluster, Lancer Evo inspired 'jet fighter' style front grille, reshaped bumper and hood, new roof rails and door mirrors with integrated turn lights.
