The new-generation Toyota Innova and Fortuner will be launched next year. The new Innova and Fortuner will be built on the same platform and this will be lighter and even safer. The new-generation Innova and Fortuner will be powered by a new range of engines, 2.4-litre for the Innova and the 2.4-litre and 2.8-litre for the Fortuner. These will be coming with a six-speed manual and automatic transmission.
The Innova will be a lot more luxurious, powerful and fuel-efficient than the currently sold MUV. The Innova will get a new eight-inch touchscreen system with keyless entry, push start, satellite navigation and reverse parking camera. There will be two airbags and ABS on offer as well. The Innova’s new engine will be producing 147bhp of power instead of the 102bhp that the current one produces. The price of the new Innova will be about Rs 17-20 lakhs, making it more expensive than the currently sold Innova.
The Fortuner is another SUV that will be making its way into the Indian car market. This new SUV will also be powerful and feature loaded as well. The new Fortuner will have better driving dynamics as it will be lighter and even the performance shall be a lot better than the currently sold Fortuner. Toyota has worked on the downsides of the currently sold Fortuner and has ensured that the new one will have good driving dynamics.
