      New teaser images of 2016 Skoda Superb out

      Recently, Skoda has released the official sketch of the next generation Superb sedan. Now, the company has released the a couple of teaser images of the 2016 Superb sedan, which is scheduled to make its world debut in February 2015. The vehicle will be put for a public preview at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show in March 2015, while the sales for the European markets will commence by mid-2015.

      The next generation Skoda Superb is based on the new Volkswagen Passat, but it is slightly longer than its siblings. The company recently shared the fully covered images of the Superb, which just completed its final testing rounds in Europe. The vehicle is claimed to offer spacious cabin, large boot, updated infotainment and comfortable driving experience.

      Going by the teaser images, it is visible that the next Superb features the company’s latest design language which we already seen on the new Fabia and Octavia. The long bonnet overlapping the front grille offers an aggressive look. The front gets horizontal slat grille, flanked by a pair of sleek headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lamps.

      The side profile of the sedan features aggressive creases running across the length. Its strong shoulder line and sloping roof line that merges the tail add to its elegant look. It is equipped with new advanced features such as Skoda’s MirrorLink pairing system and an advanced touch-screen infotainment system.

      The 2016 Skoda Superb sedan will be offered in both petrol and diesel fuel options. The company will later introduce the plug-in hybrid variant of the sedan. The India launch for the sedan is expected to commence by early 2016.
