Speaking more on the occasion, Mayank Pareek, president of the company’s Passenger Vehicle Business Unit said, “Based on our total bookings, 70 per cent of the GenX Nanos booked are the AMT version. AMT as a technology gives the convenience of clutch free driving, automated gear shifting and the freedom to choose a drive mode, hand in hand with good fuel economy at an affordable price.”

The Manual transmission variant is offered at a price tag of about Rs. 1.99 Lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi), whereas the automated manual transmission (AMT) version is offered for Rs. 2.69 Lakh. The top end manual trim only cost about Rs. 5000 extra than the existing variant. The AMT model costs an additional Rs. 40,000.
