Tata Motors, the home-grown automaker, seems busy strengthening its small car line-up to regain its lost ground in the Indian market. The automaker that recently launched the Bolt hatchback, will bring in other small cars in months to come including thenew Kite hatchback and sedan. But that doesn't mean that the company isn't working on big cars; it is planning to launch the updated Safari Storme and Aria in the country. While the Storme facelift will come this year, the updated Aria might launch next year.

If rumours are to be believed, the company is also working on new entry-level hatchback based on the Nano. Since the company already has so many products lined-up for this year, the much-awaited Aria facelift's launch might be pushed further, claims a report published in Indian Cars Bikes. The company has three major products to launch this year – the Safari Strome facelift and the Kite hatchback and sedan.

Meanwhile, Tata is more focused to generate volume sales with its new range of smaller products rather than the Aria facelift. The new Aria will receive some major cosmetic updates, while the engine was upgraded last year. The crossover might get a new 6-speed automatic transmission. The ageing interior will also be revised with advanced infotainment system.
