Mahindra Two-Wheelers had recently acquired about 51% stake in Peugeot Motorcycles (PMTS). Back then the company acquired the international brand with a view to launch better and stylish two wheelers within the country as well as international markets. Sources have recently managed to grab pictures of the upcoming range that shall be assembled here by Mahindra Peugeot.
The first one among the lot would be Metropolis 400i that is expected to be powerted by 400cc, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled engine that generates about 37 PS of power. The scooter gets front and rear disc brakes for maximum safety. Apart from this, the scooter gets DRLs, parking brake, driver and passenger backrests and an adjustable windscreen.
The second one would be the Satelis scooter that shall be available in 300cc and 125cc engine variants. Both the engines shall be receive automatic 4-stroke liquid cooled units. For safety, the company has provided front and rear disc brakes here as well.
The third one in the line would be the Citystar that is expected to be powered by 125cc, 4-stroke engine that is capable of making an impressive 14 PS of power. The scooter shall be avialble in both air cooled and liquid cooled trims. Depending on the trim, the scooters weighs about 150 – 155 Kgs in weight. Back and front wheels have received disc brakes here as well.
The fourth one would be Django, which is powered by 4-stroke 125cc engine. The air cooled engine is capable of generating about 10PS of power. The next one would be Speedfight 3, that is available in black, with orange highlights and graphics. The bike shall be powered by 125cc air-cooled engine that generates about 10PS power.
The last one seen was the Streetzone scooter, that is powered by 50cc air-cooled 2-stroke engine that generates about 4PS of peak power. This scooter comes with front disc and rear drum brake for complate control.
