The much awaited, new Porsche 911 which is all set to début next month at the Frankfurt motor show has already been leaked on internet. It was reported that the new model had been kept under scrutiny earlier also. The officials have not commented about or verified the leaked pictures on the internet.

The pictures reveal that the new Porsche has got a sleek bumper and a new LED feature has been introduced from 918 Spyder. For the efficient aerodynamics, headlights and air intake have been installed. The front of the new model has not under gone major alterations, though the mirrors on the side are now mounted on the door.

The major changes have been at the rear because as identified from the pictures, the tail lights have become much sleeker. The rear wing that was electrically operated has been redesigned for better aero dynamics potency. Other changes include the reduction of openings for the engine cover from five to three.

Though the model is a classic 911 untouched in segments of design, its measurements have been altered to improve the in built cabin and safety features. With the lengthened wheelbase and shortened rear overhangs, it measures at 1299mm high, 4491mm long and 1873mm wide. This time around, aluminium has been used for designing the bodywork and the chassis. As a result of the aluminium coating, there is a reduction in kerb weight in-spite of the inclusion of heavy wheels.

The new 911 features a seven speed manual gearbox that is a classic aspect with all other models of Porsche. It is a single clutch variant that is manually controlled and is related to the automatic gearbox of the PDK. The pictures of the car interiors reveal the section of the car being labelled as 'Panamera', equipped with the technology of electric parking brake and a multi instrument cluster. With all the speculation, it is yet to be seen if the new model to be launched at the Frankfurt Motor show, is the same or not.
