Nissan Evalia has been a well known brand in the MPV segment in India. The extra comfort and spacious Evalia has been recently launched in a special top end trim known as 'Evalia XV (O)'. At the time of launch Guillaume Sicard, president,Nissan India Operations was quoted as saying, “The Evalia is a completely new take on the adaptable and multi-functional urban family car. Over the last two years, the Evalia has evolved based on customer needs. (And now) we added prominent features like captain seats and sliding windows in the middle row and roof AC vents amongst others.”
The new Nissan Evalia XV(O) has been launched with the existing 1.5-litre K9k diesel engine that is capable of delivering power output of about 85 Ps with 200 Nm of peak torque. The fairly powered engine has been mated to a five speed manual transmission. As part of new features the new Evalia MPV gets faux-wood finished centre console, AC vents for all three rows and 2-DIN music system for entertainment. As for safety features, the MPV comes with ABS, EBD, reversing camera and an i-key. On the exterior, wheel arches have received newly styled 10-spoke alloy wheels and full chrome grille that compliments large headlamps. The new bumpers carry stylish airdams and sport a restyled fog lamps enclosure with chrome elements. The new Nissan Evalia XV(O) is up for grabs for Rs. 11.62 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi).
