      New Mitsubishi Cars Coming to India

      Mitsubishi Motors sells its cars in India in alliance with Hindustan Motors. The company has yet not been able to make it big in the Indian market, in spite of several successful models in its Indian product portfolio. Now Mitsubishi is planning to introduce new Evolution series of cars along with brand new Mitsubishi Pajero in the Indian market.

      Mitsubishi Lancer

      Mitsubishi recently launched the new Outlander in India priced at Rs. 19.95 lakh which is pricier by Rs. 70,000 than its older model. The model is also BS IV compliant. Now it intends to sell at least 10,000 units in India with new models and new marketing strategy. It sold only 2200 units in the last fiscal, and its current sales volume is approximately 35-40 units a month.

      "We have just launched the new Outlander and our next plan is to launch a new Pajero, which will hit the market by the end of this fiscal," Hindustan Motors executive vice-president and business head Vijay Kumar said. HM-Mitsubishi currently sells sedans Lancer and Cedia and the SUVs Pajero and Montero, in the country and has 40 dealership pan India.
