World's popular little hatchback named MINI Cooper finally launches loaded with fresh upgrades for the Indian market. The new Mini Cooper has been launched in 5 -door and 3-door options. The 5-door trim has been launched for about 35.20 lakh, whereas the 3-door trim is offered at Rs. 31.85 Lakh. Both the prices are ex-showroom pan-India based. As for now, Mini has launched the new Cooper with only a diesel engine option.
The new Mini Cooper is powered by 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder diesel engine that is capable of generating about 114PS of power with about 270Nm of torque output. The stylish and peppy hatchback claims to deliver an impressive fuel efficiency figure of about 21.15 Kmpl.
Brought to life by BMW engineers, the new Mini Cooper boasts of better dynamics like longer overall length by about 98 mm as compared to the older trim. The new version has also received width of about 44 mm, with 7 mm height, and about 28mm longer wheelbase. Owing to extra dynamics the vehicle also gets a larger boot space of about 211 liters.
As for the interiors in the new Mini Cooper, the hatchback has received new instrument console and redesigned switch positioning on the doors as well as dashboard. As for the exterior, the new Cooper gets LED headlamps, daytime running lamps and more bolder looking wheels.
