It seems Mercedes is already working on a facelift for its high-power flagship coupe, the S63 AMG Coupe.Spy shots of this fairly new model indicate that the brand is looking to heavily revise the front-end look.
There will, however, be no major changes to the drivetrain. Expect only slight changes to the engine for a little higher power output of around 600bhp, compared to 585bhp in the current model. Similar changes will also be made for the S65 AMG Coupe with up to about 650bhp as well as for both AMG convertible models.
What’s most likely though is the end of rear-wheel drive configuration for these models since AMG has already announced to go for all-wheel-drive on most of their future models.
Expect the facelifted S AMG Coupe and Cabriolet models to hit the European markets by the end of next year.
