Reports have claimed that this model is going to be sold in international markets in a number of body styles, depending on demand of the particular region. Experts feel that Mercedes-Benz might make a few changes in exteriors of the new car to make it look more attractive. Also, the engines used in variants are likely to be tweaked in order to provide better output levels. Since C-Class has been successful invariably, strong rumours suggest that Mercedes-Benz will launch it in India soon. The current generation model has been doing great business and recently, the firm launched a Celebration Edition to mark global sales of 10 million units, something that is quite incredible.

Existing version of Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a superb vehicle that is stylish, powerful and full of technologically advanced features. Highlights of exteriors of this car are bi-xenon headlamps, aprons (front and rear) and distinctive radiator grille. C220 CDI, the most popular variant, runs on a four-cylinder that has a displacement of 2143 cc, delivering an output of 170 bhp along with peak torque of 400 Nm. Mercedes-Benz, according to trade analysts, is slowly regaining dominance in the luxury car segment of Indian car market, as position it has lost to fellow German rivals Audi and BMW in recent years. After an excellent 2013, Mercedes-Benz would be looking to continue its performance in 2014 by launching more models. C-Class is one of the most bought models from this firm in India and has been doing well for a long time now. Experts are of the opinion that the next generation version, when launched in India, is going to do really well. The combination of Mercedes-Benz's current performance and rising demand of luxury cars is likely to work for this model.
