      New Mercedes Benz A Class unveiled!

      The German auto giant Mercedes Benz, which is aggressively working on rolling out higher volume segment vehicles in the global market, has unveiled new A-Class hatchback at the Geneva Motor Show.

      Blessed with Mercedes Benz’s new age design language and architecture, the new A-Class model carries a fascinatingly sculpted look. The major attraction of the car’s exterior is its front designing that has been made charismatic by using angular LED headlamps in combination with stylish bumper.

      In a bid to make this car aerodynamically more efficient, the company has done a few changes in the dimensions of the car including an increase of 487 mm in the length that makes it 4292 mm long, a slight increase of 15 mm in width that makes it 17800 mm wide and a decrease of 163 mm in height.

      As per the media reports, the new Mercedes Benz A - Class variant line-up will come powered by newly developed four – cylinder engines, to which the company will be sourcing from is global partner Renault. The transmission is expected to come in two options including six speed manual transmission and the seven speed dual clutch gearbox.

      The car is most likely to be launched in the Indian market in the coming year, where the company is looking forward to enter in the smaller and cheaper luxury vehicle segments.
