      New Maruti Swift 2011 - Specs and Prices

      India’s leading automobile manufacturer Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch its new 2011 Maruti Swift in near future. This new Swift model was already launched in Europe and became one of the most successful models as it is loaded with better specs and attractive prices. Let's elaborately check out the new Maruti Swift 2011 prices and specs.

      It is expected that the New Maruti Suzuki Swift 2011 will be longer and wider than the existing model and there is a rumour that some of its features will be similar to Suzuki Kizashi, which is another recently launched model of this leading brand.

      As far as the New Maruti Swift's engine is concern, the car will come with both petrol and diesel engines with 1.2 litre and 1.3 litre motors respectively. India’s new Maruti Swift 2011 is mated with a five speed manual gearbox transmission.

      The petrol engine will be loaded with innovative K-series engine with VVTI technology which has the capacity to churn out maximum power of 90 bhp and deliver a mileage of 21.1 km per litre according to ARAI. On the other hand, the diesel engine is loaded with Multi-jet turbocharged engine from Fiat platform and this diesel 2011 Maruti Swift can produce peak power of 80 bhp and gives a mileage of 25.8 km per litre.

      Apart from that, the New Maruti Swift 2011 is equipped with Bluetooth, powerful Xenon headlights, 15 inch alloy wheels, push start/stop button, electronic folding ORVM, steering mounted audio controls, automatic climate control, sunroof, audio system that comes with advanced AUX and USB and so on. Maruti Swift new model will come in various attractive colours that include silver, black, white, blazing red, torque blue and glistering grey.

      It is expected that the Maruti Swift 2011 new model's prices will range between 6 lacs and 8 lacs, which will be Rs 30,000 higher than the existing variants.
