Maruti Suzuki India will soon launch the much-awaited new Alto K10 facelift, which gets both styling and mechanical upgrades. The vehicle gets an all-new interior, which has better quality plastics and fit & finish compared to the outgoing model.
Inside, the vehicle gets dual-tone scheme which comprises of black and beige. While the black colour is visible on the top, the beige is added at the bottom. Its centre console has a piano-black finish. The top-spec models gets an integrated music system consists of CD/MP3/Radio/USB and AUX-in. The controls for the air conditioning now feature modern rotary switch gears.
There is a newly designed 3-spoke steering wheel on offer. The restyled instrument panel gets orange highlights, which add some freshness to car. The vehicle gets AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) gearbox, which is the same offered on the Celerio hatchback. The other changes include new beige colour upholstery for seats, AC vents, etc.
The new Alto K10 is expected to go on sale in early November. It will be offered in both petrol and CNG fuel options, and there will be a total of six variants. Under the bonnet is the same tried & tested 1.0-litre 3-cylinder K-Series petrol motor that is capable of developing a top power output of 67bhp and 90Nm of peak torque. The vehicle is claimed to return an impressive mileage of 24.07kmpl in petrol mode, and 32.26km/kg on CNG run.
