Tata Motors owned Land Rover has confirmed that it will soon two new models of Range Rover in the British market. The two new 2011 Range Rover SUVs will also be accompanied with the launch of limited edition models of its iconic SUV that will feature special design features. "At the top of the range, the new Autobiography Black 40th anniversary limited edition offers customers the option of complete exclusivity with unique colourway combinations as well as striking interior and exterior design features," Land Rover Design Director Gerry McGovern said.
The two new Range Rover models will be powered by 4.4L and 5.0L V8 engines that will be compliant with the new Euro V emission norms. Through the launches, Range Rover maintains its numero uno position in the premium SUV market and the new model with reduced CO2 emission and superior performance engine will enable the cars to retain their market share. Land Rover will sell only 700 units of the limited edition Range Rover models across the globe.
