      New Hyundai i20 Elite-more details revealed

      With not even a week left for Hyundai’s new i20 launch, more details have emerged about the car. Yesterday only we informed you regarding the additions and tweaks expected to be seen in new i20 Elite, and today we have come up with more new details about the car. It has been learnt from close sources that Hyundai has omitted basic Era trim from new i20 Elite range. Build quality has been improved substantially also the NVH levels (Noise, Vibration and Harshness levels) has been bettered in the new model. Basic trims will get 14 inch alloy wheels as standard option, while high-end trims will get 16-inch alloy wheels. The company has also cut down on the number of airbags offered on the high-end trim, Asta from six to only two (co-passenger and driver) in the new i20 Elite. Rear disc brake and sunroof offered on Asta (O) will also be missing.

      Two new features have been included in the hatchback, one is the in-built service indicator that will be equipped on the redesigned multi-information display and the other new feature is the steering position indicator. Besides these, Hyundai is also expected to induct Bluetooth system in the hatch. Top-of-the line variant is likely to get music system with an in-built storage capacity of 1GB, it will also get four speakers along with the system. At the time of launch the company will offer only one engine option each in petrol and diesel models. Petrol models will get a 1.2 litre gasoline engine and the diesel range is expected to be housed with a 1.4 litre diesel powertrain. The new i20 Elite is expected to priced between Rs 5 lakh to Rs 7.5 lakh.
