      New Honda Jazz variants and feature-list leaked

      Ahead of its launch on July 8, 2015, the new Honda Jazz's variants and feature-list have been leaked online. The 2015 Jazz will be offered in five trim levels – E, S, SV, V and VX – similar to the City sedan.

      The base variant – Jazz E - comes equipped with LED high-mounted stoplight, LED taillights, day/night rear-view mirror, four-door power windows, lane change indicator, tilt-adjustable steering, tachometer, average fuel and fuel consumption display, instrument cluster with Blue illumination, key reminder and driver-seatbelt.

      The Jazz S (E+) gets gloss-black front grille, body-colored door handles and ORVMs, rear defogger, chrome lower grille shift position indicator (only for CVT), electrically-adjustable ORVMs, rear parcel shelf, 8.9-cm audio system with 4 speakers, Bluetooth, driver-seat height adjuster, steering mounted audio controls, ABS with EBD (only for CVT and diesel) and central locking.

      The Jazz SV additionally gets foglights, beige seat upholstery, premium gloss finish for center console, 12.7-cm display for audio system, instrument cluster with LCD and Blue illumination and Eco Assist, driver-side one-touch up/down with anti-pinch, instantaneous fuel consumption display with cruising range, speed volume compensation, multi-view rear parking camera, outside temperature display, micro antenna, Bluetooth controls on steering wheel and dual front airbags.

      Features like alloy wheels, turn indicators on wing mirrors, rear wiper and washer, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, electric folding function for wing mirrors, auto AC with touch controls and paddle shifts (only for CVT) are add-ons offered with the Jazz V trim.

      The top-end variant – Jazz VX – comes with advanced 15.7-cm touchscreen AVN system with DVD and navigation, Magic Seat function, black seat upholstery, adjustable rear headrests, reclining rear seats, 60:40 seat back, seat back pocket, front and rear mudguards and rear spoiler.

      The 2015 Honda Jazz will be available with two engine options – a 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol (with 5-speed manual transmission and a CVT) and a 1.5-litre i-VTEC diesel (with 6-speed gearbox). The company has already started taking pre-booking orders for the vehicle at all its dealerships across the nation.
