If rumors are to be believed, Honda will launch a new and refreshed version of Honda Civic early September 2009. No technical upgrade is available and the new face lifted model is expected to showcase mild changes on the exteriors that include new front bumper, new grille design, new headlights and tail-lamps and new set of alloy wheels.
Some expect that interiors may also be revamped with new armrests, changed upholstery and door linings. The engine and front dashboard remain unchanged. There are no official details of the model nor is there any information about the price.
The face lifted Civic model has already been launched in the international market with minor changes on the front and the rear. It is already on sale in North America.
It is also widely rumored that company may phase out the old model once the new face lifted model is launched in India. There is no official confirmation of this as well. We wait for the new model, and if the rumous are true, a pre festive season launch would indeed make the most sense!
