Honda will be replacing the old Honda Civic model in the Japanese market. The company is concentrating on developing cars for the future markets which includes more fuel efficient models, cheaper models or the small car models. Honda Motor Corp. said Tuesday it will cease selling the old Civic brand car in Japan, ending domestic production of the hybrid-version for the home market in December amid sputtering demand for passenger sedans.
The New Honda Civic 2012 has been spied testing, and it is said to look like a long Honda City model. The current model will be on sale in the Japanese market till stock lasts. The next generation Honda Civic, codenamed as Honda Civic 2HC will create its niche thereafter replacing the older model.
For the Indian market, the new Honda Civic will experience a later launch as the company is currently busy preparing itself for launching its small car model Honda Brio, codenamed as Honda 2CV. The model will be on display on 30th of this month at the Thailand Motor Show.
