Fiat is planning to introduce a new Palio / Siena in the overseas market by 2011. The car has already been caught testing and spy shots are doing rounds on the internet. According to the recent reports, the new project from Fiat in Argentina is being funded by the government as well along with investments of $352 million from Fiat itself. Fiat has its plant in Cordoba in Argentina.
Fiat has introduced models like Punto and Linea in the Indian market which has helped it to regain its market image in the domestic market. Fiat is also planning to introduce a new small car in the Indian market which will be placed below Punto. It is widely expected that Fiat may introduce this new car at the next Delhi Auto Expo 2012. The car is expected to be priced in the range of Rs. 3-4 lakh.
