Bajaj Auto is all set to launch a new range of Pulsars in the country today. The Indian motorcycle major has already teased that it will be a 'new Pulsar range' under the 'adventure sport' category. Though, the company hasn't revealed model names, we believe it will be the new Pulsar 200AS and the AS150. Both the bikes have been spotted testing on Indian roads several times.
The Bajaj Pulsar 200 Adventure Sport is powered by a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which is capable of producing 24.16bhp of power and 18.6Nm of torque. This engine is paired to a six-speed gearbox. Based on the 200NS, the bike features a semi-fairing that extends sleekly to merge into the tank and big projector headlamp. The bike shares essential features with the 200NS such as rear section, swing arm, seating position, disc brakes, etc.
On the other hand, the Pulsar AS150 is powered by a 149.5cc single-cylinder engine that churns out 17PS of power at 9000rpm and 13Nm of torque at 7500rpm. This engine is paired to a five-speed gearbox. The suspension mechanism comprises of telescopic forks at front and monoshock setup at the rear. Its braking system consists of disc upfront and drums type brakes at rear.
Bajaj Auto is also planning to launch more powerful CS400 and RS400 in the country in the next few months. Adding to it, the maker is also working the Avengers facelift which is likely to be launched by the festive season this year.
