Indian bike-maker, Bajaj is readying to bring forth new Discover 150S in Domestic market. The launch will take place on August 11, 2014. Besides this, the company will also roll out semi-faired version of the bike, christened-150F. 150F will get somewhat similar features, but will be priced a tad higher. The new bike will be made available in two trims, Drum brake and disc brake. Bajaj has sent the bike to its dealerships and bookings have also begun for the new bike all across the nation.
Resemblance can be seen with Discover 125, however Bajaj has bestowed new body graphics and new colour shades have also been added. Among the new additions an analogue instrument console and ten-spoke alloy wheels are included. Under the hood is a 150cc, for stroke, single cylinder, air-cooled , for valve motor. Power is transmitted to rear wheel through a five-speed gearbox via a drive chain. The new bike will come fitted with Telescopic Fork suspension in the front and monshock suspension at the rear. Drum and disc brakes have been equipped in different variants. And MRF Nylogrip Zapper tyres have been affixed. Bajaj already offers Pulsar in 150cc segment, hence it is being expected that it will price Discover 150 a little cheaper and lesser powerful as compared to Pulsar.
